Neuroma is most frequently the result of inflammation of the band of fibrous connective tissue running along the bottom of the foot, from the heel to the ball of the foot.
SYMPTOMS OF NEUROMA INCLUDE:
• Pain in the forefoot and between the toes.
• Tingling and numbness in the ball of the foot.
• Swelling between the toes.
• Pain in the ball of the foot when weight is placed on it.
